Ephesians 6:12-18 which states that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness..

The sermon also discusses the 3 distinct Heavens in ancient cosmology

  • The First Heaven (Atmosphere): This is the visible sky, the clouds, and the atmosphere where birds fly.
  • The Second Heaven (Space/Spiritual Realm): This is outer space (the sun, moon, and stars) and the invisible spiritual realm. This is the intermediate realm where Satan and fallen angels currently operate, conducting spiritual warfare and resisting the prayers of believers
  • The Third Heaven (God's Dwelling): This is "Paradise" and the throne room of God. As mentioned in 2 Corinthians 12:2, this is the highest heaven where God's ultimate glory resides.


    • Believers must always remember that courage and peace comes from being empowered by the Holy Spirit rather than being controlled by fear.
